i was wondering is there a way to change .flv files to WMA or avi files

never knew google was such a good source..Always the first place to START. actully im trying to convery youtube videos into avi or wma /media player
playable formatlol, i actually know a better way to get youtube videos from youtube without downloading any software or addons like for FIREFOX. If you go to a video you like on Youtube, copy the URL for the video.
Now go to www.vixy.net and paste the url in the bar. Click convert or something and it will RETRIEVE the video and convert it automatically, although sometimes you might have to change the settings to 'FLA to AVI'
When it's done, you can download your AVI.

Hope this helps for whatever purpose you're using it for.... the site DONT work...yeah, i put www.vixey.bet instead of http://www.vixy.net

which is freeware and it’s based on the FFMPEG encoder (normally it is used to create .flv files from .avi or .mpg, but it can do the reverse too).

Google found it in a blink of the eye.

carbon dudeoxide it does work but wen it comes to big files ITS SLOWyeah, vixy can be slow for long videos.....
I'm gonna try dl65's one, SEE what that's likedl65, Your one is really slow. The computer usage goes up to 100% and it's sooo hard to do anything else, lol.
