Answer» plz help me.my drive unable read dvd rom, it's stared then stop,SEEM my brother ruin it.
it can play cd and movie but not auto run anymore.

DVD-Super Multi double layer(DVD+R Double layer/DVD+/-RW)Try a system restore to a few days before this happened. What exactly did he do to it? Was he inside the case or the drive?he said he just put dvd rom in it, then when he shut down he FORGOT to take it out
and when he turn on the laptop,dvd rom still inside then it can't open dvd rom .
how to restore the system bro.. Is there a small hole on the front of the drive? If so, you can gently push a paper clip in there to release the mechanism. nop, the hardware is WORKING properly,it just can't play DVD ROM
and not auto run for all. Not all DVD's are autorun...
PROVIDE alot more info with specifics so we're not just guessing here.I had manage to roll it back to previous SET up
