Note This Fix It solution does not remove an Office program that was installed separately from the Office suite. For example, if you have Microsoft Office Professional 2007 and Microsoft Office Visio 2007 installed on your computer, the Fix It solution only removes Microsoft Office Professional 2007 from your computer. Visio 2007 will not be removed.

I have Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007, will it apply & remove registry entries?I would think so. Try it and let's see.Okay then will update on this tomorrow, as am out of office now. Fingers crossed.Just a thought, as you are using word 2007, are your files .doc or .docx ? I also had a problem with a printer not able to print .docx files

Thanks patchrunner for replying.

Yes, all am using Word 2007 & there are .doc & .docx files. At present am having issues with printing anything from Word as the print dialog box is not opening.Bad LUCK Guys , used Microsoft Fix it (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971179).

Also, after it finished used CCleaner to cleanup registry. But still the same issue; all settings reverted back, even the list of recent documents.

I'm really out of ideas, sorry.Had contacted them as the first thing, but they have the worst customer support;

Hi,

If novaPDF is completely removed from your system, the problems are not related to novaPDF.

I suggest you reinstall the HP printer driver, or reinstall MS Office.

C'mon Allan, we can't give up like this. Only thing I can think of the is to get rid of the Office registry entries. Just advice how else we can.Well, I'll give you a long shot suggestion. How tied to Office 2007 are you? Do you have an OLDER version? If so, uninstall Office 2007 and try installing an older version. If everything works well after doing that, you can then try to install 2007 again if you need it.

BTW - I know this is a horse / barn thing, but circumstances like this are perfect examples of why EVERYONE should use a disk imaging utility on a regular basis.Hey Allan, we did it ... Word 2003 Works!!!

Uninstalled Office 2007 & re-installed Office 2003 and shoo .... all the problems go.

But missing the style & features of 2007, will surely look around for a cure.

Now all I can figure out is the novaPDF messed up with the printer settings of the Word in the registry, which are still lying in the system inspite of all the above troubleshooting.

Can you assist with cleaning registry of Office 2007 installations?As far as "cleaning the registry", I wouldn't worry about it right now. What you should do is get hold of a disk imaging utility and create an image of your drive. Then you can try to upgrade to Office 2007. If things don't work as expected you can restore the image and no harm done.

Oh - and really glad it's working now Thanks Allan, surely that was the next thing on my cards.

Can you suggest a good RELIABLE disk imaging utility?I'm a big fan of Acronis True Image - clearly the best of breed, but it's not free. Some free alternatives: http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=0h&oq=free+dis&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGLL_enUS304US305&q=free+disk+imaging+softwareHow about this;
