Answer» I can always receive emails OK in OE6 but about half of the time, as soon as I try to reply to anything or forward an email in my Inbox to anyone else, OE just shuts down completely. Re-opening it and trying again repeats the same problem. Eventually, after re-loading it again a bit later, it works perfectly!! Until the NEXT time. What on earth is going wrong please? I run XP Home, and have plenty of RAM and hard disk SPACE, and check regularly for VIRUSES and spyware. BarryWhen OE prompts you to let it compact messages, do you let it proceed with compacting? Do you accumulate thousands of messages in your Inbox?Thanks for responding. I clear out the deleted items every day, and also sent items as far as possible. I do have a hundred emails in my inbox I would guess but no more.
