Answer» I have a laptop (15 inch) that runs Vista 32Bit, with a ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 card.
This is the error when I want to play games like Wolfenstein ET, Star Wars JEDI Knight II and III, and I think I need a driver for this:
Code: [Select]JK2: v1.03 win-x86 May 3 2002 Initialising zone memory ..... ----- FS_Startup ----- Current search path: H:\Program Files Laptop\Star Wars Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\assets5.pk3 (4 files) H:\Program Files Laptop\Star Wars Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\assets2.pk3 (289 files) H:\Program Files Laptop\Star Wars Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\assets1.pk3 (8011 files) H:\Program Files Laptop\Star Wars Jedi Outcast\GameData\base\assets0.pk3 (6674 files) H:\Program Files Laptop\Star Wars Jedi Outcast\GameData/base

Is there an alternative way to fix this problem, a link to the driver update with OpenGL I need for those games or do I have to wait?
Thanks.
P.S. I installed Catalyst 7.10, but I dont know if this program can help.http://support.ati.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=894&task=knowledge&questionID=26978
Quote Currently AMD does not provide any driver support for Mobility Radeon™ products. All driver and technical support for Mobility Radeon™ products is provided by the original laptop or notebook manufacturer. The drivers that are available for download at ati.amd.com are for desktop products only.
To download Windows Vista Mobility Radeon™ drivers or driver updates for your laptop or notebook product, please visit your laptop or notebook manufacturer's website. Who is your laptop maker? Did it come originally with Vista?Broni,
it´s a Fujitsu Siemens computer. I already checked there for the driver for my X1400, they had it, I downloaded it. I exed the file, it began installing. But it said some files couldnt be installed. After the reboot all visual advances for Vista were horrible and I had to reboot from another day. I am really confused what to do now
ThanksQuoteDid it come originally with Vista? Quote Broni and patio.--->Did it come originally with Vista? I think my school, where the laptop has been delivered to for a lower price, installed Vista, so No.
It´s so strange-downloaded the driver from F-S and it cant get fully installed and even makes the performance worse What are the basic computer specs? ThanksPretty nice setup:)The .exe package got me installing Catalyst again but I dont see how that´s going to help me running these PARTICULAR games. After installation I try to run the games but I got the same error in console.
I noticed that if I replace a game's .exe file with a NOCD crack games run, but there aren't any cracks for JK 2/3 so maybe it's because I use CD's but it still isn't normal.
EDIT: and C. says OpenGL version is still Not AvailableThe Warez and cracks are probably the issue. We don't discuss them here. Sorry.
