I like open office, but if you decide to buy office then get it soon because microsoft got sood and may not be able to sell it anymore if the appeal falls through. Confused a bit. Quote I like open office, but if you decide to buy office Do you mean if i was going to buy Microsoft office home and student 2007.... So should i uninstall Microsoft office home and student 2007, and just go for "open office." I am REALLY not sure whether just to leave it installed Definitely uninstall it. I recamend just going with open office. I wont explain the comfusing part because I will probably make you even more confused.Quote from: Boozu on September 21, 2009, 12:41:32 AM Definitely uninstall it. Hidden files are not usually counted and the files that are installed in different folder that are used so that you can not just copy the program to another pc and have it run. Thanks for letting me know that Boozu. Just been having a clean up on the DESKTOP computer which is windows xp pro Add remove programs, uninstalled quite a few , but not sure about about these jave updates. Some time ago i had asked this question on another forum, and got conflicting replies, about whether you can uninstall the old java updates. Which i am sure i have done so in the past, i had quite a few of them, and just left the latest update. Not sure if you know about this, but can you uninstall them I figured you could but to double check I googled it and found this. http://www.java.com/en/download/faq/remove_olderversions.xml Yes you can uninstall the old ones.Quote from: Boozu on September 21, 2009, 07:30:54 AM I figured you could but to double check I googled it and found this.
