Solve : Unistalling microsoft office home and student 2007?

Answer»

Hello there good morning or afternoon.

Microsoft office Home and student is installed on my computer.
I have used the 25 free goes or whatever it is.

But i have no intention of buying it, so is it best to uninstall it, and go for a free alternative like "open office"
If anything i would only use WORD anyway, but you carn't seem to get that anywhere on its own, or for free.

Thanks
WINDOWS vista home premium.....

I like open office, but if you decide to buy office then get it soon because microsoft got sood and may not be able to sell it anymore if the appeal falls through.Quote from: Boozu on September 21, 2009, 12:17:22 AM

Thanks Boozu

I might as well its just sitting there, using up 330MB No problem. "330MB" Plus all of the FILES that you don't know about. Hidden files are not usually counted and the files that are installed in different folder that are used so that you can not just copy the program to another pc and have it run. Thanks for letting me know that Boozu.

Just been having a clean up on the DESKTOP computer which is windows xp pro
Add remove programs, uninstalled quite a few , but not sure about about these jave updates.

Some time ago i had asked this question on another forum, and got conflicting replies, about whether you can uninstall the old java updates.
Which i am sure i have done so in the past, i had quite a few of them, and just left the latest update.

Not sure if you know about this, but can you uninstall them

I figured you could but to double check I googled it and found this.
