Answer» I have been running windows 98 for 5 years and have not received any updates in this time as i am new to going on line. I have recently installed a new cd/dvd Rw and BELIEVE I need update drivers to resolve problems IM having. I am only on dial up connection and would LIKE to know the best way to resolve my problems. Posted on behalf of a friend The FIRST thing to do is go to the Windows Update Site and let Microsoft tell you what you need. After 5 years there is probably a boat load of updates available. http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp If you are having a specific problem with your CD/DVD RW, go to the manufacturer's website, find your model and see what you need for Win98.
