Did you format the drive or just did a repair over the OLD operating system? I replace Windows XP home edition with Windows XP PROFESSIONAL by just running repair. If you have done the above your icons should be on the desk top as normal. Not SURE what you mean by programs folder you dont see them on the desktop-the only folders you can see on the desktop are the ones you put there. |
