Hello, Thank you for reading this. I have been having this problem from the moment I installed my copy of Windows 7.
I have a 32bit.

It seems there is a file missing from the Framework. I GET this error whenever I try to run an application and sometimes when I download a file....

Error parsing
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\config\machine.config
Paser returned error 0xC00CE556.

I have REINSTALLED the Framework Version 4.0 many times even tried Version 2.0 to see if that was it but nothing has worked..

I first noticed this problem when i tried running Microsoft SQL 2005 and it wouldn't let me connect to server.

Anyways I am not so good with computers i am using an ACER Aspire 5536.

Try removing .NET 2 and DLoad and install a fresh copy.erm I am a computer nub so yea... What do u mean?

I have tried 4 DIFFERENT ones and all have said that its not applicable to my computer....
My windows 7 copy is a cracked one, is this why?
and How do i re-install Windows Vista I had before? I can't find the CD.Windows 7 comes with .NET 3.5, which uses the same CLR (Run-time) as 2.0 (iirc).

cant find the vista CD... i dont think it even came with one (laptop from england).

Any idea how to reinstall it?
