I used my scan disk 2.0 GB on another computer and the computer gave me a message "USB Device not recognized.  Device may have malfunctioned."  Now when I insert my scan disk, I receive this message on every computer I use.  My office tech guy told me that the other computer fried by flash drive but there may be a way to retrieve my files on my scan disk.  Are there recovery programs?  Where can I FIND them and how much do they COST?    Doubtful if it's ruined and not even recognizedbut have a look:

P.S. DOWNLOAD a Free Trial of Norton Partition Magic 8 it can be found here http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/Hard-Disk-Utils/Partition-Magic.shtml and open Partition Magic and see if your flashdrive is recognized there.. and if it is you are in luck and right click and select browse contecnts and  back up.. and reformat the flash drive..
