Answer» I m USING winxp (sp2) i got a usb hard drive (external notebook harddisk with 120GB) i have plug it to my PC usb port, but it sometime will show that usb not recognize and sometime it run very well... is that the driver problem / the hardware problem?? anyone can tell me??Try to see if this problem occurs only when you use one particular USB port. Your computer should have at least two. Try using all the PORTS. Also, before you physically disconnect the USB drive, MAKE sure you double-click on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the System Tray and choose Stop.
