Answer» Hello: I've been using PhotoStudio for a long time: Now all of a SUDDEN when I attempt to open a photo I get this MESSAGE;
"xxxx(filename).jpg is not a valid Win32 Application"
Any suggestions please Jim Sounds like your file associations may be hosed. Check here for file association help. Hi: I went to the place you suggested, And I don't know what the heck they are telling me to do. Any other suggestion for a COMPUTER dummy??? Jim At what point does the confusion begin? Thank you for answering: After I click "File type" then the New Button.. A little window comes up and ask for "File ext" Now I'm confused, I don't know what to put in that box. Jim forrestback Right click on any .jpg file, and click Open with, then Choose DEFAULT Program Select PhotoStudio from the list, checkmark ALWAYS open...., and click OK. You're set.Thank you, PhotoStudio working fine now.... Now why does my "Picture Publisher" give me this message and locks up when I do a "Open with" on a "JPEG" and select Picture Publisher:" I get this message "C:\my photos\IMG_0168.JPG" does not exist. Maybe it's because his calls it a JPG file when all other references call it a JPEG file. If you don't want to bother with this, I understand. Jim I'm glad, it worked
Quote Maybe it's because his calls it a JPG file when all other references call it a JPEG file It doesn't matter. In Picture Publisher go File>Open, and see, if it'll open the file.OK Thanks... I appreciate help for all you folks .. Jim
