Answer» I am running Windows vista on a sony vaio VGN-NS20E/S laptop.
Basically, I want to CREATE some recovery discs using the vaio recovery centre recovery disc creator utility. Select the necessary things, and it SAYS to click on which disc you want to create (1 or 2 of 2) and then click next. Select to create the first one, the next icon is not selectable. Try the second one, same problem.
Ive seen on a few websites that people have had similar problems. Thing is, no one SEEMS to have found a solution, aside from reinstalling the factory settings and then creating the discs, which isnt really an option. Has anyone here solved this problem, and if so, I would be grateful to KNOW how its done.
Cheers, guys. :-)
FeenixOK, got it. It DOESNT like Daemon tools and the virtual drive. Deleted the virtual drive, job done.
FeenixHi i was wondering if you had a recovery disk for the sony vaio vgn ns20e as i tried to restore it and got 21% through disk 2 and it popped up ERROR 414

The error 414 when using recovery discs (not just on Sony Vaio) usually means that the disc is faulty, scratched, or has some other fault which has made it unusable. You should contact Sony to request replacement.
