Solve : vcr cleanup?

Could anybody ADVISE me of any software program that can clean up,NOISE,tracking probs etc. I am converting old vcr TAPES to dvd via a tv card. Thanks.There is a VCR cleanup filter in Avisynth, but that is not a route for the faint hearted as you would be writing scripts and doing a lot of manual stuff.

I had a eureka MOMENT and typed "VHS cleanup" into Google. I suggest you do the same.
