Answer» I'm TRYING to run a Ventrilo or Teamspeak server for my clan. and I was WONDERING is there anything I have to have to run those kinds of servers on my computer? Because whenever I create and start the server (it says the server is running) but I can't connect? Or can I not run a server on my computer because I have XP home edition.I see you've GOT no takers yet on your question. I don't actually have an ANSWER either. If you Google running Teamspeak server, you might find some helpful info. If you can't get this working, i.e. using your computer as a Teamspeak server, here's an option: http://www.darkstarllc.com/services/teamspeak/; it costs $8/mo for up to 50 users. And, here's a $5/mo possibility: http://www.teamspeakhost.com/pricing.phpAre you properly forwarding ports? What kind of connection info are you giving the client (internal ip, external ip, FQDN?) external ip, i cant even connect. it says teamspeak server is not running on my computer, but it is. and i dont REALLY know how to forward ports.forwarding ports depends on ur router. what make/model do u have?
