I have a 9200 radeon video card.When I play NHL 2004 it freezes up on me. The game image freezes and then the monitor goes black. Sometimes it reboots itself (the computer) but most times I have to re-set my self. Ive done the driver UPDATES over and over but still have problem.There is no screen saver on behind. Any other suggestions. Other than that computer runs great.Hope some one can help.Sometimes I get the whole game in most times freeze up any period any time. Assuming its not a game fault (game not like'in the card and ati not made a fix yet) it might be a hardware fault.

I doub't its over heating but maybe try bigger fan if you got one about?

If you sure its driver related and there was a time it worked in the game perhaps a system restore or if you not mind the backup process perhaps a complete format?Does this only HAPPEN in games? All games or some games?

Make sure your drivers and virus scanner are up to date.

What OS is this?

In the control panel, look in the system > performace area for graphic acceleration. Try adjusting the slider.operating system is as follows:

I HAVE PUT FANS IN THE CASE AND UPDATED DRIVERS BUT STILL HAVE SAME RESULTS.I MAY GET 1 COMPLETE GAME BUT ON THE OTHER HAND I MAY FREEZE UP AT ANY TIME
MY ERROR READS ATI2VAG DISPLAY DRIVER HAS STOPPED WORKING NORMALLY
