Answer» when i PLAY videos in any media player, real player, vlc, media player classic, every-so-often the video with stutter, slow down sort of for a a second and then pick up where it left off. there is no stuttering at all in other computer operations(internet, opening programs, downloading). i have a dell inspiron E1705 with 2 gigs of MEMORY. any ideas? What kind of videos are we talking about here? DVD's, WMA, MOV? What operating system are you USING? Are all your players up to date?
When you are playing the videos, does it slow down all at the same TIME? Does it happen with all videos you play?
Post back and we can help you Make sure you have the latest codecs and video card drivers.it happens at seemingly random times. i do have the most up to date players. i have the most up to date codecs and drivers. im running xp media edition with 2 gigs of ram, 120gb HD with plenty of space. its all types of media, mp3's wma's, everything. it actually might be happening during regular operating procedures as well. i might just not be noticing it because a webpage skipping while loading would be much less obvious than a video file.
