Solve : VideoCard/Software problem?

Answer» OKAY.. So last night I was watching a DVD in PowerDVD, it wasnt full screen so I could see the icons at the top and all of a sudden this horrible flickering starts, and then the icons become all blurry and my MONITOR goes to a black screen showing a "no signal" message, like I get when the cable has come loose at the video card end.

I rebooted and everything was fine until about 10 minutes in when I wasn't doing anything, I was on the phone at the computer, and it started again - this horrible flickering, followed by black screen and "no signal" message. I thought it might my monitor, so i switched monitors with my old PC, and then again no suprise, about 10 minutes in the same happened.

Since that 3rd restart, my computer will boot up until its just got passed the logon screen with the green bars scrolling under "MS XP HOME" logo, then the screen goes black and my computer restarts with the options to start in safe mode and so on.

When I get into safe mode it tells me theres a problem with "ATI Sapphire Radeon 9200se" and that its causing system instability. When I click on the error report thingy it says it was driver "ati2dvag.dll"

I have now disabled ATI Sapphire Radeon 9200se (the cable from monitor is still going into the ati card though) and everything is running fine, except i cant go larger than 800x600 and everything is really jumpy (scrolling and so on).

Is there any fix for this? I've tryed reinstalling the drivers and STUFF but the same thing happend (reboots itself after logon screen).

I also think for some reason my computer has gotten alot slower since this happened (when it logs on and is loading up all the programs, msn and so on) but maybe im being paranoid just because the video update is slower.

Please can SOMEONE help
thanks. martIf re-seating the video card doesn't fix it then try swapping it out for a known WORKING one.
