Solve : VMWare workstation can not understand USB perfectly?

Hello
I can not use USB security key in VISUAL Windows XP in VMWare WORKSTATION.
The VMWare workstation support USB storage device and also Bluetooth, but I can not use USB security key.
How can I solve this problem?

k_mohsen, are you using latest version of VMWare Workstation, and latest version of security key software? On host? On guest? Is key RECOGNISED sometimes or never?

I use VMware Workstation v5.5.2.
the visual Windows XP Pro can not find any new device when I connect USB security key.
but Windows can SEE flash drive and Bluetooth devices.
there is no info about version of security key software, this key is an identification for some accounting software to run it up.

Boy that is an old version. Latest is 7.0 something!

This is production environment? You have VMWare licence? You do not have access to support? You are running 4 year old release?

Get 100% up to date and then see if you still have problems. May VMWare compatibilty fixes since September 2005!
