Solve : Which PC should I get??

Answer»

My laptop recently died on me after a Windows update and now it won't even turn on. The screen just stays black.

So I've decided to buy a desktop pc instead. Thing is, I'm not well experienced with computers and specs and those sorta stuff. My max budget is £500. I WANT to use it for normal everyday work. Entertainment, homework, and basic gaming if possible. ALSO, I tend to download and transfer a lot of files. All of the PCs I've PICKED have 1TB storage. I'm planning on buying a portable hard drive too.

I've selected the 3 PCs from Argos :

HP Pentium Gold 4GB 1TB Desktop PC & 22w Monitor Bundle - £399.99 Intel Pentium G5400 processor Dual core processor Processor speed 3.7Ghz 4GB RAM DDR4 Hard drive speed 7200RPM Shared graphics , Intel UHD 630

HP i3 8GB 1TB Desktop PC & 24w Monitor Bundle - £449.99 Intel Core i3 9100 processor Quad core processor Processor speed 3.6Ghz with burst speed of 4.2Ghz 8GB RAM DDR4 Hard drive speed 7200RPM Shared graphics Integrated graphics UHD Graphics 630

Stormforce Onyx Ryzen 5 2400G 8GB 1TB Radeon RX Gaming PC - £459.99 AMD Ryzen 52400G processor Quad core processor Processor speed 3.4Ghz 8GB RAM DDR4 Hard drive speed 7200RPM Shared graphics AMD Radeon RX Vega 11

With the gaming pc I FEEL like basic work and entertainment would be fast, like everything would be smooth, but I'm not clever with PCs and it PROBABLY won't make a difference.

What do you think would be a good option? To be very frank, it is hard to commend something.
Are you willing to go with the most popular?
Why do you favor HP? Acer makes some really good stuff.
The Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop is a great value.
Just saying.
