Solve : Why do some here advise against Spybot S&D?? |

Answer» I have used Spybot for many years, but when I mentioned it on a post recently I got the impression it's not very popular? Why not? It's free and it is updated often. I'm not a superfan or ANYTHING, I'm really just curious. Is Spybot no GOOD, and if so, why, and if there is something I should be using instead, what is it?It's OLD school - also, tea timer has been known to cause significant problems. Today's BEST of breed anti-malware apps are MalwareBytes and Super Antispyware.Cool, thanks. I already USE Malwarebytes but hadn't heard of Super Antispyware.Other issue I know of with Spybot is that there is a virus out there with same name, so if you dont download it through the correct website, you can infect yourself. |
