Solve : Will not read dvr or dvd discs? |

Answer» My f*****g old computer won't read dvr or dvd discs. I have updated the driver, and it reads music CD's. But when I PUT in a dvr or dvd, it does nothing. I go to the disc drive manually and it sais "insert disc". If I re-insert it after that it attempts to read it but locks up and I have to run task manager to close the whole program! Bad drive...one of the lasers has burned out.Has it ever read a DVD ? Is it a DVD drive or a CD drive?cleaning your drive may help you... Has it ever read a DVD ?
