Solve : Win 10 update reset machine to near-new, profiles inaccessible, what next?? |

Answer» After being away for a month, I ran Windows update, which had a lot to install. On restart, it does not FIND USER profiles. I connect (somehow) to what looks almost LIKE a new machine: INSTALLED APPS are present and run, and data files exist on my data drive, but all personalization seems nuked. What's going on? Best recovery option? Been a while since a backup. |
