Solve : win dvd pro? |
|
Answer» i have win 7x64 system with blu ray player. i can play regular dvds but not blu ray. i must find out if it is a software problem or hardware problem. i purchased(downloaded) win dvd pro, but i can not get it installed. even had tech support try, but did not work. icon installs on desktop, but when you click on it blue circle goes around for awhile then nothing happens. usually when i have a problem installing something it is the comodo firewall causing the problem. any suggestions. i do not want refund on wind dvd pro unless it wont work before my refund period is over.Is your DVD drive blue ray compatible?Does dvd pro come with codecs for playing blue-ray?Quote from: talontromper on November 26, 2010, 12:34:22 AM Does dvd pro come with codecs for playing blue-ray? blu-ray isn't a codec. the blu-ray discs use MPEG-2, H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and VC-1 ENCODING, which are all standard fare in any VIDEO playing application.Sometimes you need to have the latest drivers for your video card installed, and there are patches that may need applying (confusingly CALLED SP1 and SP2), and the app does not work with certain video cards. Browse here for hints http://forum.corel.com/EN/viewforum.php?f=36 Anyhow, something confuses me: how do you get a refund on software that you downloaded? I thought that the download version was a 30 day TRIAL, and that Corel only give refunds on retail software returned in its unopened original packaging. i have THIRTY days to get a refund. that is what they told me on the phone. it is a computer that plays both reg. and blu-ray disks. |
