Solve : Win98 boot? |
|
Answer» hello, hello,Windows XP may not be shutting down your PC simply because the HARDWARE might not be compatible to do so. If the power on/off on your computer is a switch, or a button that stays in when the computer is on, and goes out when its off, then there is no WAY to get Windows to shutdown your computer. I am not sure that this thread belongs here... Could you please provide the EXACT error message for the "netbios.vxd" error? There appears to be a solution here, but only look at it if you are willing to register for this site: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Operating_Systems/Win98/Q_20901267.html But in WINDOWS98 it is shudown properly. (Power OFF completely) But in XP "IT SAFE TO TURN OF YOUR COMPUTER" message will comeSee above. It has to do with your machine, not the Windows installation being defective. |
