hey, i just installed win98se on my laptop and once i installed it, the setup showed me that i was missing some drivers and it wanted to copy them from a location.  at this time i didn't have th drivers so i just skipped the process, but now i got the drivers off the internet and put them on a floppy.  when i put the floppy in my laptop and go to move the file to the hard drive it doesn't show any of the files, it says they are hidden.  i put the files on the from a computer that is running windows me so that might be a problem but they're just ax,vxd,sys,etc. files and their not showing up when i PU the floppy on the laptop.


what can i do?

What preceded this difficulty?Unhide the files.yes the cd still works,when i had win95 the drive showed up but it does tell me now that its missing drivers, so yes its a new OCCURENCE,and how do i unhide the files,if it matters any,they are on a floppyBoot to DOS or from a DOS window:

attrib a:\*.* -h

Be sure the floppy is in the drive.ok i'll try itWindows Explorer>TOOLS>Folder Options>View>Show hidden files & folders.it worked thank you
