Answer» I just acquired Windows 2000 Professional to fix my SYSTEM. I put the disc in and follwed the instructions. Now when I try to get on the INTERNET with it, it says my DNS server is UNREACHABLE or unavailable. I contacted Embarq and they informed me I was missing my drivers. Can anyone please help me fix this so that my husband can have his laptop back and I can have my PC back on-line. Thank you in advance Go to Device Manager, and see, if there are any errors there.You could also DLoad and run Everest Home and post the computer summary info here so we know what hardware we're talking about in that machine. Save the report to a /txt file and copy and paste the summary...I went to device manager and it has other options which have my ethernet and all in it, with ?'s beside it. I called LINKSYS to see if they could help fix it but they were no help at all. I am at my wits end lol Quote it has other options You mean Other Devices?
