Any thoughts and recommendations?There are many better alternatives to Windows Defender/M$ Security Essentials: http://www.virusbtn.com/vb100/index Avira Free and AVG are two examples of free antivirus systems that have a higher proactive and reactive detection rate than WinDefender. But I don't know how easy or convenient it would be to DEPLOY such programs on a large scale...I'm not a fan. I always found Defender to be a resource hog and not as good as MalwareBytes or SUPER ANTISPYWARE.
