Solve : Windows DVD Maker Not Burning DVD?

Answer»

I have Vista and i CONVERTED some videos files into .mpeg format, put them into Windows DVD Maker, GOT 99% (not even kidding) of the CODING loaded, and then this window pops up saying that there's been an error and it shuts down. This has happened three times in a row with three different DVD-R discs. Anyone know the reason for this and how to fix it?One file, or you tried several of them?
If the latter, give DVD Flick: http://www.dvdflick.net/ a shot.
What was the original format, and what converter did you use?Six files actually, but I MADE sure they all could fit in with room to spare. Their original format was .ogm and I used Prisim Video Converter to convert them.Did they play while in ogm format?
Did they play after conversion?
Where are the files from?
Vista DVD maker gave up on me at some point, so it may be your problem, as well. They did play before, but I had to change the format of the files in order to get them into the Windows DVD Maker program. They played just fine AFTERWARDS too. I'm pretty sure the problem isn't from the files because I know they're clean: my bet's on the WDMTry DVD Flick.Thats what I'm doing now, and so far its working great! Thanks for the help!!Great!
I had very same problem.
I think, I must have installed some software, which messed up some codecs, which were used by Vista DVD Maker, so instead of investigating, I switched to something else...
