You do have Windows Media Player 10, right?

YupAnd Windows XP?Yep windows xp home(deleted and repost to bump) =oThis might help. Be sure to proceed to PAGE 2 of the discussion where you see comments about Administrator privileges and registering wmpband.dll.
How can I enable the Microsoft Windows Media Player (WMP) 9 Mini-Player mode?I got the ERROR "LoadLibrary("wmpband.dll")failed - The specified module could not be found."

=/I can email you my wmpband.dll if you'd like to try that. PM me if interested. The version I have is 10.0.0.3802, a later version than the one explained here? http://www.processlist.com/info/wmpband.html.my email is XXXX(ill pm you it)
edit it out after you see it if you can please . Also where do I put it?I sent the file to you. Let us know how it goes.Hmm it's already at both the locations you stated =/Have you tried uinstalling WMP, then reinstalling it?Yes, many times also tried different versions.=(OK, Dark, I'd try this. Uninstall WMP 10. Download CCleaner and use it to clean your system; be sure to include the Issues scan, which checks the registry and identifies registry ENTRIES that should be deleted. Alternatively, or in ADDITION to CCleaner, download Eusing Free Registry Cleaner 1.0. After you've USED one or both - and I'm inclined to recommend using both - then reinstall WMP 10 and see whether you can add the Mini-Player.

Note: the installation of CCleaner will also install the Yahoo toolbar unless you opt not to install it, which you can do by simply unchecking a box that you'll see on a screen soon after the installation procedure starts. I'd recommend unchecking the box.
