Solve : windows media player - no video?

I am trying to play DVD MOVIES on my HP laptop with windows xp using windows MEDIA player 11. I am able to hear audio but get no video. any suggestions??

WOULD the same DVD s play when using WMP 10?

You might want to try VLC media player and see if it will play the dvd ....
