Answer» Hello.
I have been getting an anoying error message in WinRAR.
Recently I downloaded a WinRAR file through Bitcomet(a 350MB video). The file/archive is made of up several smaller Folders(25 in total), each one containing a part of the video. Usually when I extract it FIXES them all together and I can watch the video easily.
But when I went to extract this PARTICULAR file, I received an error message
".part25.rar: CRC failed in rome.202.hdtv.proper.xvid.notv.avi. The file is corrupt"
"part25.rar: Unexpected END of archive"
I just cant seem to get it to open. Ive tried "repairing" it but with no effect. I have downloaded it TWICE but both with the same error.
One thing I have noticed though, is that all the files are exactly 15mb each apart from the last file (.25) which is only 3mb. Im sure I read somewhere that the files all have to be the same size...
Any help would be appreciated Thanks
The file is corrupt on their part(The people that are seeding), not yours. Sorry it's just a problem your GOING to have to deal with.
8-)fffreak*censored*, that sucks thousands of other people will end up downloading a corrupt file...Although I did look around and find a whole media file instead so no extracting You get what you pay for...
I'm sure that's not the only corrupt file out there in cyberspace.
