Solve : wmp will rip but can't burn??

Answer» I have wmp11 and it has always worked, now I can only rip not burn. Under the burn tab it says to connect a drive. The burner works for other things. Any ideas? I did a disk defrag, could that have done anything?I tried reinstalling wmp11 but that didn't work. ADDED also drive make/model pleaseI found some help from some other FORUMS like starting the IMAPI CD-Burning COM SERVICE, reinstalling the drive, reinstalling the IMAPI 1,5 driver, etc... but none worked. Came across a further post in that THREAD were someone had recently downloaded some music software from MAGIX, this is what I have done also. He got support from MAGIX and they have some reg fixes. http://download.magix.net/windows_2000_xp_registry_fix_uk.zip Ran the two regs and rebooted. Problem solved! What was the Magix software?
