Answer» Everytime i try to start up word i get a message saying SHUTDOWN failed last time but when i try to start it the program freezes and i can not read any pdf files onlineTry using Acrobat Reader to read .pdf files. You may NEED to change your file associations, as I don't believe Word reads those anyway.it wont start at allI give up. What won't start? Word? Can you REINSTALL the software and see if that fixes it? If not, you may have to UNINSTALL and then reinstall.
