why my yahoo messenger that installed in my computer was always restarting everytime i log on to YM.

i dont have any idea why this happens in my computer? can everyone help me with this problem?pls...

Have you tried reinstalling Yahoo Messnger?
Is there any error message?im running celeron D, 521MB, 80Gb HDD and winXP Pro Sp2

no error message, just restarting YMTry to reinstall YM....I've experienced a problem similar to this with "Yahoo! Messenger", however, the program would close whenever i tried to type anything within the program.
Re-installing fixed this for me.
i did that. i also tried to reinstall YM to fixed this problem but when i reinstall YM its behavior was the same. always restarting. i also try to upgrade it to YM VERSION 9 but it was useless. is there another option to fix this problem? ]

Have you try to update your system?Do you have the LATEST version of Adobe Flash Player?  If not download and install.  Then you might try to change your connection settings. Go to top of YM and click on Messenger and then Preferences. Go to the Connections page and try these options, no proxies or no network detection (try one than the other). Click OK after choosing one. Yahoo Messenger will need to close to change the settings.  If that don't do it I am out of options. Quote
