Answer» Poem conveys that rich and powerful people built statues and monuments in their name so that they could be remembered by the fellow men even when they are not there . But the time is all powerfull it destroys everything except literature. Art and literature are immortal. The poet wants to convey that words arr eternal and would remain till the doom\'s day. It will remain relevant throughout the ages. The poem has a small theme...it tells us about poets poem....it says that statues and monuments built in someone\'s memory would be destroyed by war or other reasons but poems written in praises will be eternal and people will know poets friend by the poets poem.....the praise in the poem lives forever and can\'t be destroyed |
