⇒ 330 = 1/2(4x + 7x) × 20

⇒ 330 × 2 = 11x × 20

⇒ 660/20 = 11x

⇒ 33/11 = x

⇒ x = 3

⇒ Shorter side = 4x = 4 × 3 = 12 cm

LONGER side = 7x = 7 × 3 = 21 cm

⇒ Difference = 21 – 12 = 9 cm
