Getting the certification provided by Cloud Security Alliance and International Information System Security Certification Consortium known as (ISC)² indicates you have advanced technical skills and knowledge to design, manage and secure data, applications and infrastructure in the cloud using best practices, policies and procedures. Nevertheless, it is considered one of the advanced credentials among others – consequently, those who are interested in pursuing are required to have five years of working experience in IT fields on a full-time basis. Three of them shall correlate with information security whereas one year must pertain to architectural concept, design requirements, security in cloud data, cloud platform and infrastructure, cloud application also operations, legal and compliance. If and only if you have earned CCSK, the previously mentioned one-year requirement will be waived. Supposing that you already hold Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification, it can REPLACE the entire five-year requirement.
