Getting the certification provided by Cloud Security Alliance and International Information System Security Certification Consortium known as (ISC)² indicates you have advanced technical skills and knowledge to design, manage and secure data, applications and infrastructure in the cloud using best practices, policies and procedures.

Nevertheless, it is considered one of the advanced credentials among others – consequently, those who are interested in pursuing are required to have five years of working experience in IT fields on a full-time basis. Three of them shall correlate with information security whereas one year must pertain to architectural concept, design requirements, security in cloud data, cloud platform and infrastructure, cloud application also operations, legal and compliance.

In detail, the certificate primary focus is on the intersection between business and technical security challenges in an enterprise’s cloud computing environment. Five years of working experience in enterprise security with a deep understanding of cloud computing services and deployment models are the recommended prerequisites.
