1.	What do you mean by emision and absorption spectra ?
Answer» Solution :When the ENERGY EMITTED by an atom due to tne de-exciation of electrons is observed through a spectroscope ,it appears consisting of BRIGHT lines on a dark BACKGROUND ,this is emission spectrum.The spectrum formed due to the absorption of energy during the ecitaion of elctrons CONSISTS of dark lines on a bright background , this is called absosrption spectrum.
