Mahatma Gandhi believed that religion can never be separated from politics. It was not in reference to any particular religion but in general Gandhi believed that every religion is characterized by moral values and ethics and that religion brings a sense of morality in the conduct of politics. For Mahatma Gandhi, religion must guide political actions whose ultimate aim was to secure welfare of the people.\xa0 |
