After arriving India Mahatma Gandhi successfully organised Satyagraha Movement in various places: ◆1916 he travelled to Champaran in Bihar to inspire the peasants to struggle against the plantation of Indigo. ◆In 1917, he organised Satyagraha movement to support the peasants of the Kheda district of Gujarat who were affected by crop failure and plague epidemic nd could not pay the revenue. ◆In 1918 Mahatma Gandhi went to Ahmedabad to organised Satyagraha movement among cotton mill workers.
