What is mean by commercial farming |

Answer» A type of farming in which a single crop is grown on a large area ( i guess this will be enough for a 1-2 mark question) A type of farming which is done to export the goods produced within the country. It is done with the help of modern equipments, hyv seeds,chemical fertilizers etc... Higher doses of modern inputs....high yeilding variety (hyv) seeds, fertilizers are used....commercialisation of agriculture. 1.In commercial farming crops are grown only for commercial purposes2.Farmers make use of higher doses of modern inputs ,HYV seeds, chemical fertilizers, insecticides, etc3.Examples- Rice is a commercial crop in haryana and punjab The type of farming in which there is the use of higher doses of modern inputs , example- high yielding variety seeds (HYV) ,chemical fertilizer, insecticides and pesticides in order to obtain higher productivity is known as commercial farming |
