| Answer» Solution :Copper obtained from Bessemer converter by the process of Bessemersiation gets blistertypeappearance. This is CALLED blister copper. During the process of Bessemerisation, `Cu_(2)OandCu_(2)S` REACT to produce copper and `SO_(2)` gas. In this process, copper is obtained in the molten form and then it is solidified. During solidification, `SO_(2)` gas ESCAPES and hence, blister copper is obtained. | |
