What is the name given to a collection of logically related data |
| Answer» Database\xa0- is an integrated\xa0collection of logically related records\xa0or files. A\xa0database\xa0consolidates\xa0records\xa0previously stored in separate files into a common pool of\xa0data records\xa0that provides\xa0data\xa0for many applications. The\xa0data\xa0is managed by systems software called\xa0database\xa0management systems (DBMS).\xa0Logically related data\xa0means that the\xa0data\xa0should be relevant in some context. Example: If we are going to make a database for a customer then the database may include customer name, contact number, age, past orders, address, email id, etc. All these information are in the context of the customer. | |
