) What is the need of conservation of resources? Elucidate in the light of Gandhiji’s view

Answer» Apart from in the political and social spheres, Gandhiji had also made significant contributions towards conservation of resources. He believed that "Resources are available for everyone\'s need, but not for anyone\'s greed". He considered greedy and selfish individuals and exploitative nature of modern technology the root causes for constant depletion of resources and strongly criticised the idea of mass production. Mass production, according to him, had to be replaced necessarily by production by the masses (from machine to man).
