What is the relationship between kinetic energy and work? |

Answer» Solution :Work done by the resultant force acting on a moving object is equal to change in kinetic ENERGY of the particle. i.e, if v is the final velocity and u is the initial velocity then work done (w) `w = Delta E_(k) = E_(k)` (final VEL) - EK (initial vel) = `1/2 mv^(2) - 1/2 mu^(2)` it is also called as work energy THEOREM. |
