What is the role of Mr.Gilman in Helen\'s life? |

Answer» Thanks Mr. Gilman was very helpful to Helen in the Cambridge school for young ladies. He assisted Helen in her preliminary examination. However, during the second year he fears that Helen was overburdened and might not succeed in the entrance examination for the Redcliffe college. Therefore, he reduced her study duration and extends her stay at Cambridge. Unfortunately, this led Helen to left Cambridge. This may also seem as a possessive side to his nature but we couldn\'t deny his generous nature. |
