| Answer» The poem "Amanda!" is based on the theme of upbringing of a child. The process of upbringing of a child involves compromises from both sides (parents and children). One cannot simply force his or her child to be disciplined. The upbringing of a child not only involves making him economically and socially fit for a secure future, but it also involves proper care and nurturing to make the child physically and mentally safe. It is indeed important to make a child disciplined and fit for future society, but not at the cost of his or her freedom and happiness. | |
