Answer» 1) Dr Ambedkar clashed with Gandhiji in 1930 as leader of the Depressed Classes Association, when he asked for separate electorates for Dalits at the second round table conference.2) The British gave in to the demands of Dr Ambedkar, however Gandhiji started a fast unto death against the same.3) This clash was resolved when Dr. Ambedkar accepted the Poona Pact in 1932 which gave Depressed Classes (Scheduled Castes) reserved seats in provincial and central legislative councils, but they were to be voted by the general electorate.
