Answer» Solution :a. If the number of consumers in the ENVIRONMENT goes on increasinggradually , they would be a decline in the number of the prey they feed on. B. A decline in the number of prey would EVENTUALLY result in a decline in the number of consumers due to scarcity of FOOD. Hence, INCREASE in the number of consumers in the environment would cause an imbalance in the ecosystem. |
